After exiting his position as Regional Operations Manager for Townsquare Media Michigan and PD of Hot AC “Mix 95.7” WLHT and AC “100.5 The River” WTRV Grand Rapids earlier this week, Tom Cook is joining Entercom as Director of Music Programming for its Baltimore cluster.

Cook will oversee AC “Today’s 101.9” WLIF and Hot AC “Mix 106.5” WWMX. Before joining Townsquare Grand Rapids in 2011, Cook previously held programming positions in Madison, Philadelphia, Toledo, and Wichita.

He fills the opening created by Dave Labrozzi’s move to Cumulus Hot AC 95.5 WPlJ New York last month.

Entercom, the #1 creator of live, original, local audio content in the United States, today announced the appointment of Tom Cook to the role of Director of Music Programming in Baltimore, effective July 30. Cook will oversee programming on Today’s 101.9 (WLIF-FM) and Mix 106.5 (WWMX-FM).

Prior to joining Entercom, Cook was the Michigan Regional Operations Manager for Townsquare Media, where he oversaw programming for 23 stations in five markets. He also held Operations Manager and Brand Manager roles. Cook also held various on-air and programming positions at Clear Channel Communications, now iHeart Media.
