Tribune Media News/Talk 720 WGN Chicago has announced the promotion of Mary Sandberg Boyle to Director of News & Operation.
Boyle has served as Executive Producer of Steve Cochran’s morning show and Director of Communications at WGN since December 2015. She has also worked at CBS Radio producing the morning show at CHR “B96” WBBM-FM and Steve Dahl’s show at 104.3 WJMK and 105.9 WCKG. She has also worked in marketing for MLS’ Chicago Fire and the United States Tennis Association.
Boyle fills the opening created by Stephanie Tichenor’s move to Cumulus Media’s 890 WLS as Program Director earlier this year.
