Sarkes Tarzian is preparing to debut a new format in Fort Wayne as it plans to break up the six month old simulcast of Alternative “Alt 99.5/102.3” W255BY/WAJI-HD2 Fort Wayne and WGBJ Auburn IN.
As first reported by Indiana Radio Watch, WGBJ/W255BY is running promos that the the Alternative format will only be heard on 102.3 starting Thursday, June 20. WGBJ dropped its prior Regional Mexican “La Unica 102.3” identity upon closing of its $515,000 acquisition by Sarkes Tarzian in January and began simulcasting W255BY/WAJI-HD2.
The format had debuted on W255BY/WAJI-HD2 in September 2015.
