Afternoon host ‘Catcus Jack’ has retired from Cox Media Group Country “93Q” 92.9 KKBQ Pasadena/Houston TX after 27 years at the station.
Jack joined KKBQ in 1992, soon after its shift to a younger skewing Country after a brief run as “Easy Country” following its flip from Top 40. Previously hosted nights at “Z100” WHTZ New York throughout the bulk of the 1980s and before that worked at “B97” WEZB New Orleans under the air name ‘Jack Da Wack’.
Jack’s son made the announcement on Friday evening:
