Cumulus Media Hot AC 96.3 WDVD Detroit has announced that Assistant Program Director/midday host Kendall Taylor has added Music Director duties at the station.

Taylor is on her second term with WDVD as she hosted overnights in the mid 2000s before returning as APD/midday host in 2017. She has also worked at WVHT Norfolk, KMVK Dallas, and stations in Lansing and Myrtle Beach.

Taylor fills the Music Director position held by Jessica Tyler until her move to Townsquare Media Portsmouth NH in May.

CUMULUS MEDIA announces that Kendall Taylor, Midday Personality and Assistant Program Director for Detroit Hot Adult Contemporary radio station 96.3 WDVD-FM, has been appointed Music Director for the station. Taylor joined Cumulus Detroit in 2017 as WDVD Midday Host and Assistant Program Director, positions she will continue to hold. Prior to joining WDVD, Taylor held on-air positions at stations including WVHT in Norfolk, VA, and KMVK in Dallas, TX.

Lance Tidwell, Director of FM Programming, Cumulus Detroit, said: “Since I started last December, Kendall has been such an important team member and she contributes so much to WDVD. She brings great ideas and follows them with great organization and execution to what we do on WDVD. I am thrilled to have her to help improve communication with our important label partners and bringing her own perspective to what we do musically at WDVD.”
