Saga Communications AC “Coast 93.1” WMGX Portland ME morning co-host Eva Matteson has announced she will retire from the station.
Citing health issues and desire to travel, Matteson will depart the station at the end of February. She originally joined WMGX in January 2005 as a temporary fill-in while two of the morning co-hosts were on leave and has been with multiple incarnations of the station’s morning show, most recently alongside Blake Hayes since 2014.
Prior to joining WMGX, Matteson served as Nashville Editor for defunct trade publication The Gavin Report.
