Alpha Media CHR 106.3 KFRX Lincoln NE has announced the addition of Joe ‘J-Dub’ Dobbins as Content Director and afternoon host as of last month.
Dobbins joins KFRX after a brief stint at Alpha’s 99.7 WDJX Louisville where he served in the same role from September 2019 until being a COVID related cut this summer. Prior to joining Alpha, Dobbins spent fifteen years (11 as Program Director) of CHR “Hot 101” WHOT-FM Youngstown OH.
He fills the opening created by the departure of Double J in August.
Alpha Media, Lincoln is proud to announce that Joe Dobbins aka JDub has been named content director for CHR KFRX (106.3 Lincoln’s Hit Music), effective October 12, 2020. JDub comes to Lincoln from Alpha owned Top 40/CHR DJX (99.7 All the Hits), Louisville where he was content director and afternoon show host. JDub began his career in Youngstown, Ohio at WHOT-Hot101.
Lincoln operations manager, Rob Kelley commented on the hire, “Joe is an outstanding programmer with outstanding vision. He is the perfect leader for our staff and for the brand of a great heritage CHR like KFRX.”
