Townsquare Media has announced the appointment of Bob Barnett as Director of Content and Brand Manager of Soft AC “96.1 The Breeze” WMSX and Country 106.5 WYRK Buffalo NY.
Barnett joins Townsquare from Audacy Rochester where he has served as VP/Programming and PD of Country 92.5 WBEE since 2010. He also programmed WBEE from 1987 to 1996. Barnett has also programmed Country 92.3 WIL St. Louis from 1996-1999, Operations Manager and Regional Brand Manager for Clear Channel Nashville from 1999-2002 and Program Director of 99.9 WKIS Miami from 2002 to 2007. He also has operated CountryRadioConsultants since 2007.

Bob has over 35 years of experience in radio leadership and management positions. Bob has spent 21 years in two stints as the Operations Manager for Entercom/Audacy in Rochester, NY, including the last eight year as VP of Programming. He has also worked in Nashville, St. Louis, and Miami during his career.
