Byrne Acquisition Group closed on its purchase of Classic Rock “Q Rock Radio” 1240 WLSQ/106.7 W294CW Loris SC from Banana Jack Murphy Productions last week and flipped the station to a simulcast of their Conservative Talk “Talk 94.5” WTKN Murrells Inlet/Myrtle Beach.
The addition of WLSQ/W294CW improves WTKN’s coverage in the North Myrtle Beach area. Former WLSQ owner ‘Banana Jack’ Murphy had joined the lineup of WTKN in July co-hosting “Grand Strand Live” with James Bierley from 3-6pm weekdays.
The former “Q Rock Radio” format continues as a webcaster.
