After four years in afternoons at Connoisseur Media CHR 99.7 WDJX Louisville, ‘Emily on the Radio’ Mahurin is departing the station for a position outside the industry.
She wrote, “Four years ago I moved out of my comfort zone to a new city to be on a legendary radio station WDJX, and today I’m doing that again. I’m moving out of my comfort zone once again… and out of the radio industry for a new job! Thank you to all of those wonderful people who made it so eventful!”
Mahurin joined WDJX in November 2022 after previously spending her entire career at Cumulus Indianapolis starting as a promotions coordinator in 2017. During he tenure in Indianapolis shew hosted weekends at CHR 99.5 WZPL and the former “New Country 93.1” WDRQ Detroit while also tracking middays at then CHR “Hot 93.3” KLIF-FM Dallas.
WDJX has not yet set plans for the daypart.
