Audacy has announced it has signed “New 102.7” WNEW New York and “New 96.5” WTDY-FM afternoon host Mike Adam to a contract extension.
As part of the deal, Adam will also add afternoons at Hot AC “Mix 106.5” WWMX Baltimore filling the opening created by Priestly’s exit in the company’s March layoffs.
Adam has hosted afternoons at WNEW since September 2017. He previously hosted weekends and fill-ins at CHR “92.3 Amp Radio” WBMP New York and also worked in Philadelphia at CHRs “Q102” WIOQ and “96.5 Amp Radio” WZMP along with “Kiss 95.7” WKSS Hartford using the air name ‘Prolifik’ earlier in his career. Adam also has served as a correspondent for television networks including MTV, VH1, Fuse, and the syndicated Dish Nation.
