The buyers also own KD Radio, Inc. which holds four stations in New Mexico including Oldies 1240 KDSK Los Ranchos de Albuquerque/92.9 K225CH Rio Rancho/92.7 KDSK-FM Grants, Classic Country 840 KDNF Belen/Albuquerque and 980 KMIN/104.3 K282BW Grants.

Relevant Radio purchases 99.3 K257FV San Diego from Kevin Youngers’ Youngers Colorado Broadcasting for $90,000. Despite being licensed to San Diego, the translator covers the North San Diego County area around Carlsbad and Oceanside and has rebroadcast Relevant Radio’s 1000 KCEO Vista since beginning operation in 2016.

Spirit Communications sells 105.5 W288CT Newark OH to John Franks’ Runnymede Inc. for $49,000. The buyer will utilize the translator to rebroadcast 790 WHTH Heath. That station currently operates as “Buckeye Country 107.7” feeding W299CG Newark, which is also heard on 101.7 WNKO-HD2 Newark.
