RadioInsight - Layoffs Continue Into Second Week At Cumulus Media (Updated 8/13)

The cuts across Cumulus Media’s portfolio have entered a second week.

We have heard of additional names being let go over this week that we will add to the list as they go public.

Among those confirmed exiting the company this week are:

Jay Philpott exits as Appleton/Oshkosh Operations Manager and PD/afternoon host of Classic Hits 103.9 WVBO.

Philpott joined the cluster in May 2023 after previously serving as PD/afternoon host for Soft AC “Love 105” WGVX/WLUP/WWWM-FM Minneapolis from 2018 to 2023. Philpott has also held roles in Minneapolis at 104.1 KFMX, 99.5 WLOL, 92.5 KQRS, and was APD/MD at “Rock 100.3” WRQC. He has also held programming roles across the country including stints as Operations Manager of Clear Channel Charleston SC, APD/afternoon host at “Rock 100.5” WNNX Atlanta, “100.7 The Bay” WZBA Baltimore, 92.5 KZPS Dallas, 102.9 WLZR Milwaukee, “FM 99” WNOR Norfolk, and 93.7 KSD-FM St. Louis and on-air roles at “106.5 The Arch” WARH St. Louis and WHQG, WQBW and WRIT Milwaukee.

Scott ‘DXN’ Dixon departs as APD/afternoon host at Alternative “95X” WAQX Syracuse NY after fourteen years with the station. Dixon also served as Content Production Captain for Cumulus Syracuse’s defunct AAA “The SGNL“.

He posted, “Joe I can’t thank you enough for doing this, but for the last 14+ years. I’m incredibly proud of the work we did and what we accomplished. I know you are too. To all the listeners and friends made along the way, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. Spending the last 14 years talking to you everyday and having people to share the things I was excited about to was a big part of my life and something that I will genuinely miss. To all the local bands who have stitched the fabric that was Locals Only, please keep creating a community in which you can thrive. Be good to each other. I will ALWAYS have your back. As for the future? We shall see. I’m going to go have fun until after Labor Day and enjoy at least a little bit of this summer.”

Joe Russo departs as Program Director of Classic Rock “97 Rock” WGRF Buffalo NY and “Z102.3” WQHZ Erie PA.

Russo joined the stations in June 2021 after six years overseeing Classic Hits 94.9 KCMO-FM Kansas City. The Buffalo native previously programmed CBS Radio turned Townsquare Media Variety Hits “92.9 Jack-FM” WBUF Buffalo from 2005 to 2013 and spent two and half years as a consultant for SparkNet Communications.

Simon Rose exits the Cumulus Columbia MO cluster after 37 years.

A UK native who attended the University of Missouri, Rose joined News/Talk 1400 KFRU in 1990 where he most recently had been hosting 9am to 11am. He also joined sister AAA 102.3 KBXR at its launch in 1993 and was in afternoons there. His wife posted, “After 37 years on KFRU and 33 years on KBXR — where he was a founding DJ — Simon Rose has come to the end of a legendary run in local radio. He weathered plenty of rounds of belt-tightening over the years, but this time was the one he didn’t survive. The hardest part for him isn’t the ending itself — it’s that he didn’t get the chance to say a proper goodbye to the listeners on either station. He wants them to know how much being part of their lives has meant to him. They have been with him since before we were married and took daily interest in him and our growing family. Thank you for that. Simon has been a radio man his whole adult life, devoted to the craft, to these stations, and above all to the people on the other side of the dial. KFRU is 102 years old, and Simon brought a voice to that talk format that was truly his own — not just for his accent, but for his principles – a voice I think it’s fair to say was unlike any other talk show host in the state. He interviewed governors, senators, authors, President Carter and a host of equally important community leaders and newsmakers. He never lost his passion for the issues that mattered. And don’t forget the “Third Grade Jokes” segment with Connor Rose, then Fourth, Fifth and Sixth. On the music side, KBXR, he got to spend his career inside a format so distinctive that people still tune in from across the country, long after they’ve moved away from mid-Missouri. Along the way he sat down with artists like Joe Strummer, Sheryl Crow, Fiona Apple and Dave Matthews — conversations he never took for granted.”

Also departing KFRU is morning host David Gaines.

Gaines joined the station in 2008 and rose to morning co-host alongside David Lile the following year before taking over solo in 2022.

I started with Cumulus Media Columbia – Jefferson City in 2008. Within a year I was paired with David Lile on KFRU’s “A Columbia Morning”, anchoring the news. In May of 2022, after Lile’s retirement, I took over as Host of the show. Thank you to those who listened. Being a part of your mornings has meant a lot to me. It’s been an absolute privilege.

Gaines posted, “As of this week, I’m no longer with Columbia’s heritage radio station KFRU. Corporate downsizing, the elimination of Cumulus Media positions nationwide, hit our market this week. That’s the nature of this business. Despite this setback, I’m writing this with a sense of gratitude. These past 18 years have been such a wonderful stretch of my career. I’ve worked with so many talented and creative people. Been a part of countless wonderful events. Interviewed multiple local and state leaders, and interesting guests from all walks of life. ”

Country “I92” WLWI-FM Montgomery AL PD/afternoon host Greg Thomas departs after a decade.

Prior to WLWI-FM, Thomas spent fourteen years at Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa as Operations Manager. He posted, “Then and now, my love for music and radio. 📻💔
It started early. I developed a deep passion for radio and the craft of broadcasting. I could probably bore you to tears talking about how I studied it, practiced it, and was fortunate enough to make it my career for the past 38 years. That passion led me to my first radio station, WSJB at St. Joseph’s College of Maine. Not long after, I landed my first commercial radio job. Fast forward to this morning. Buckmasters founder and CEO Jackie Bushman stopped by to record an interview about the upcoming expo. Little did I know it wouldn’t air during my afternoon show because, about an hour later, I learned I was being laid off as part of a company-wide reduction in force. It’s a difficult day, and I’d be lying if I said it didn’t hurt. Radio has been more than a job to me—it’s been my passion for nearly four decades. What comes next, I don’t know yet. But I’m forever grateful for the listeners, coworkers, friends, and family who have been part of this journey.”

Lux exits as morning co-host at Classic Rock “101 The Fox” KCFX Kansas City after a little over two years alongside Matt ‘Sparks’ Sparker.

Lux previously spent her entire career in her native St. Louis where outside of ten months co-hosting mornings at then sister CHR “Now 96.3” KNOU in 2017, she had spent 15 years at Hubbard Alternative “105.7 The Point” KPNT rising from promotions to weekends to middays in 2012 and afternoons from 2013-16 and again from 2017 until her departure in May 2022.

She wrote, “If you haven’t seen the news, it’s likely because you don’t read radio publications 🤣 but the mass layoffs across the country finally made it to KC and I was one of many “reduced” from the workforce yesterday. Sparks …. You are the best radio partner I’ve ever had. You always encouraged me to be myself, you allowed me to try and fail in a safe environment, and god damn you made me laugh. I love your family so much, and am so grateful for our friendship! To the listeners, holy cow, I had no idea how special KC was, you know the STL can be very loud…but this city and the fans of that iconic station made me feel at home almost right away. Which is so rare. To the industry, adapt or perish…technology/ai and dwindling advertising money is a big uphill climb, but I’d love to see us live to see another sunrise at the top. Radio, one of my great loves, goodbye again ole pal. I have NO idea what’s next, I’m very optimistic though because I love new adventures …if you think I’m the right fit for your open position….please contact me. Andy Pollin departs as 9-11am host on “630 The Sports Capital” WSBN Washington DC.

Pollin joined WSBN in July 2019 first as morning sports update anchor and a features correspondent for the station. He previously worked at 980 WTEM as Sports Director and co-hosted both the Tony Kornheiser Show and Sports Reporters. He also worked on Redskins game broadcasts as pre and postgame host.

Pollin tweeted, “As I often say, ‘in this business, you don’t retire, they retire you.’ Cumulus just did that to me. I’m open to opportunities, but sadly that’s unlikely at my stage of the game. I’m thankful for the last 7 years at 630 and look forward to what’s next.”

Kevin ‘The Greek’ Culbreth exits as Program Director of News/Talk 640 WFNC Fayetteville NC and APD/afternoon host on “Rock 103” WRCQ Dunn.

The station posted, “A sincere “Thank You” to The Greek for decades of service, entertainment, information, and community with Rock 103. We appreciate all the contributions you made to team Cumulus/Fayetteville, NC.”

Ashley Coppock departs as Kansas City Marketing & Promotions Director after fourteen years with the company.

Coppock previously held promotions roles at Entercom and Wilks Broadcasting Kansas City. She wrote, “Yesterday morning, after more than two decades in an industry that has been such a huge part of my life, my position at Cumulus was eliminated. It’s truly the end of an era. I’ve had so many amazing experiences, the opportunity to work with incredibly talented people, be part of some unforgettable moments, and most importantly, build relationships that I genuinely cherish. I’ve learned in life, God closes doors for a reason. Doors close so you can walk through the one that’s meant for you. In my experience, closed doors can lead to the biggest blessings. So I’m walking away from this chapter with a grateful heart. I’m proud of what I accomplished, thankful for the people who made the journey so special, and genuinely excited about what comes next.”

Mixer Tim ‘DJ Nuveau’ Newton exits as part of the elimination of Hip Hop “Power 105.1” KCJK Kansas City.

He wrote, “As many of you may have heard, Power 105.1 is no longer the station we’ve all known it to be, and after the better part of 13 years, my time mixing for Cumulus media has come to an end. Its been a great ride. At one point I was blessed to be on the air six days a week — from Kansas City’s original throwback event, the Saturday Night Groove Party at the VooDoo Lounge, broadcast live on the radio, to the Friday Night House Party, the D.L. Hughley Hustle Home Mix on 107.3, and the Power Mix every Friday and Saturday night on Power 105.1.”

Jowcol ‘Boogie D’ Dolby exits as PD/midday host at Hip Hop “Power 105.1” KCJK Kansas City as that station appears headed for a format change.

Dolby joined then Adult R&B “Majic 107.3” KMJK in September 2019 to oversee its evolution to Hip Hop and then move to 105.1 KCJK as “Power 105.1” in September 2023.

Prior to joining Cumulus Kansas City, Dolby was Operations/Programming Director for Max Media Denver, Operations Manager for Radio One in Detroit and St. Louis, and Program Director of WPHI Philadelphia. He wrote, “I just want to say thank you KC!! Thank you for rocking out with me for 7 years at 12noon for the noon mix!! Today was my last day and could be my last in radio something I have been since the early 90’s but other things will come along soon!!”

KCJK morning host Shay Moore also confirmed her departure sharing on Facebook, “Just got the word from management, I’m open and available to do whatever from now on! I am no longer working for Power 105.1 in Kansas City. It’s been a dope run, more to come later…”

Moore joined what was then “107.3 KC” in May 2023 after spending seven years co-hosting mornings at Carter Broadcasting Hip Hop “Hot 103 Jams” KPRS-FM from 2015 until August 2022. She has also worked at WQUE/WYLD-FM New Orleans, WVEE Atlanta, KRNB/KKDA Dallas, WBLK Buffalo, and WBAV Charlotte in various roles including Program Director of KRNB, Promotions Director, and on-air.

Afternoon host Ivani Bing departs after seventeen years with the company. She wrote, ” was terminated today after being with Cumulus Media for 17 years. Thank you to everyone who listened, called in and stuck with me all these years. Whether you listened once or daily over the years I thank you for being a part of my dream….and it’s not over yet, I know something great is coming for me but in the meantime I’m free as a bird and if you’re hiring holla at your girl.”

‘Sparkle’ departs as midday host on CHR “95 SX” WSSX and nights on “Classic Hits 96.9” WIWF Charleston SC after 12 years with the company.

Lamont Hollywood exits mornings at Classic Rock “107.7 The Bone” KSAN San Mateo/San Francisco CA.

A native of Winnipeg, Lamont began his career there where he worked at multiple stations including mornings at CITI-FM. He would move to the Bay Area in 1989 to host mornings at Rock 92.3 KSJO San Jose where he was first teamed with Paul Tonelli. The duo would remain at KSJO until 2002 and would join KSAN in 2003 until the show’s exit in November 2024. Sans Tonelli, the show would return at the start of 2025 with Lamont, Program Director ‘Chasta Lynn’ Michaelis and APD Danny ‘Baby Huey’ Delmore.

As part of a long farewell post, in which he teased returning in another platform, Lamont posted, “After 37 unforgettable years, the time has come for me to step away from the microphone. Due to corporate restructuring and severe cutbacks at Cumulus, my chapter on these airwaves is coming to an end. What we are all witnessing is the tragic consequence of debt-fueled media consolidation. For years, giant corporate conglomerates bought up hundreds of radio stations using massive leverage, only to spend the next decade slashing real human talent, gutting local newsrooms, and replacing live voices with syndicated feeds and automated voice-tracking just to pay down interest on executive balance sheets. Oh , and to preserve executive salaries and bonuses.”

The majority of the staff has exited Classic Alternative “99X” 100.5 WNNX College Park/Atlanta including “The Morning X” featuring Steve Barnes, Crash Clark, and producer Leslie ‘LT’ Tillery, Program Director/midday host Steve Craig, and evening host ‘Planet Jill’ Melancon.

Chad Valentine departs as Program Director/afternoon host at CHR “Hot 97.1” WBHT Wilkes-Barre PA after eight-plus years.

Valentine returned to WBHT in February 2018 after previously hosting nights in the early 2000s. He later spent nine years at CHR “Wild 95.5” WLDI West Palm Beach from 2003 to 2012 rising to Program Director before spending four and a half years as APD and night host at CHR “Y100” WHYI Miami. Amy Paige exits middays at Country 95.5 WSM-FM Nashville.

Paige joined the cluster to host the daypart on “103.3 Country” WKDF in 2022 and moved to WSM-FM last August. She previously hosted middays on iHeartMedia Country “The Big 98” 97.9 WSIX from 2011 until 2020 and has worked at SiriusXM’s “The Highway“, Country 98.7 WMZQ and Hot AC “Mix 107.3” WRQX Washington DC, Country “Y107” WYNY New York and Alternative 92.7 WDRE Garden City NY.

She wrote, “I am so grateful for the four years I spent with Cumulus RADIO. I was given a compassionate and gentle sendoff, yesterday. It’s a new year and a new era for me. Cheers!”

Sissy Brown and Khristal ‘Witta Eye’ Majors exit “The 615 Wakeup” on Adult R&B “92Q” WQQK Nashville.

Brown was a former Tennessee Titans cheerleader and choreographer who joined the station as morning co-host in 2018 and previously also hosted middays. Majors is a Nashville based comedian who had worked at a few internet stations. She joined the rechristened “615 Wakeup” in June 2025. Executive producer/co-host Sean Good remains with the station.

Liz Bell exits AC 103.3 WARM-FM York PA after 13 years in mornings.

Bell posted, “Today, I was laid off from Warm 103.3. For the past 13 years, Warm was more than a job. We woke up at ridiculous hours, met countless listeners, survived a pandemic, had a kid go to college, moved stations to Harrisburg, dreaded Christmas music, drank terrible coffee and saw too many of our colleagues suffer the same fate as me. I wouldn’t trade a day of it. The amazing people I have met and worked with have become family and I will miss them more than they will ever know. Thank you for everything.”

Larry Glover exits 12-3pm on News/Talk 590 WVLK Lexington KY. Glover joined WVLK in 2008 and moved to the midday slot in 2017.

The station posted, “Regarding Larry Glover, he is no longer with WVLK. Out of respect for Larry and his wishes, we have not made any public announcements regarding his departure. We are sad to see him go, and we know many listeners will miss him as well. Thanks for tuning in.”

Laura Dickerson exits as APD/night host at CHR “Q99.7” WWWQ Atlanta.

Dickerson joined the station in January 2025 from sister 104.1 KRBE Houston where she was MD/night host and retained those roles after moving to Atlanta. She originally arrived in Houston in 2017 as midday host on Radio One CHR “Radio Now 92.1” KROI before rising to MD in 2019 until its flip to Gospel in 2021. She shortly thereafter joined KRBE as a weekend host. Dickerson began her career in her native Boston at CHR “Kiss 108” WXKS-FM and spent four years at “Hot 97.5/103.9” KMVA/KZON Phoenix in multiple roles including morning show producer/co-host.

Tim Brandow departs as Production Director and midday host at Classic Rock “Wheelz 104.5” WILZ Saginaw MI. He rejoined the station in 2012 following a brief stint in Mobile AL with a total of over 40 years in the Saginaw market. He can be reached at tbrandow@aol.com.

Victor Duncan departs as Assistant Program Director at Cumulus Tallahassee.

He wrote, “After 28 years of employment, I have been let go by Cumulus Broadcasting in a corporate restructuring. I leave behind a family, not just co-workers, but a family in the truest sence of the word. We shared birthdays, birth notices, funerals and marriges. We weatherd good TIMES as well as not so good, but we stood tall through it all. I would like to thank Market Manager Miss Dot Ealy, Ops Manager John Baker, Engineer Alan Lane, Program Director DJ Dap, Production Director DJ Ezone, Sales Representatives Tom Martin, Tyler Wold, and Torrey Ford as well as TJ and Alex Summers for being part of my family over the years. Amd I can’t forget the Almighty Joe Bullard, who tutored me through the years he was with Cumulus. This is not a ending ,,but a new chapter in my life as I seek new vistas. Keep me in your prayers as I will pray for you.”

Levi Peckenpaugh departs as a Producer at Sports “92.1 The Ticket” KQSM Fort Smith AR. Peckenpaugh joined KQSM in June 2024 after eight years at “Triple Play Sports Radio” in Stillwater OK. He shared, “I am a casualty of the layoffs that are going on with the company. Thoroughly loved and enjoyed my time with the company, and the people I worked with every day. Wish everyone the best, and loved getting the chance to cover the Arkansas Razorbacks. Thank you to NWA for making the place feel like a second home.”

Kristin Klingshirn exits “The Kirstin Show” in afternoons at CHR “Q99.7” WWWQ Atlanta.

Klingshirn moved to afternoons in January after previously spending fifteen years in mornings as part of “The Bert Show” from 2011 to 2025. She previously had a five year run co-hosting mornings at iHeartMedia CHR “G105” WDCG Raleigh. She also has worked at Rock 100.1 WKQQ Lexington KY.

She wrote, “I was let go from Cumulus Media today. I’ll have more to say later. I’m going to process and discuss plans with my husband. And then I’m going to pickup my son from school because I can now.”

Doug Durocher is out as Program Director/midday host of Rock “94.5 The Pit” KTBL Albuquerque as ‘Rick Havok’ and afternoon host on AC “Magic 99.5” KMGA Albuquerque and Classic Hits 103.3 KRUZ Santa Barbara CA after just shy of a decade with the company.

Stephanie Duran exits middays at AC “Magic 99.5” KMGA Albuquerque after a twelve year run. Duran joined KMGA as midday host in 2014, moved to mornings three years later, and then back to middays in January 2021. He career also includes stops at KZRR, KRST and KOB-FM Albuquerque, KTYD Santa Barbara, KUPD and KZON Phoenix, and. KYKY and KEZK St. Louis.

She tells us, “Radio has been my life, my love and my savior more than once. This is all I’ve ever done. I started as an intern when I was 17 and never looked back. I would love to get back on the air, but I’m also going to be brave & explore voiceovers and narration! I’ve taken voice acting classes and I already have a really good home studio set up (thank you, Covid), so it’s time to try!”

Susan Saunders will exit mornings at CHR 101.5 WBNQ Bloomington IL after nearly 29 years.

Saunders joined WBNQ in December 1997. Following her vacation, she will return until her final show on August 28. She wrote, “Thanks for checking in. Yes, it’s true. Nothing anybody local could change, I’m sorry for them too.I appreciate your kind words. More later ok? Please don’t fill the comments with explanations because ….lawyers. And after my mental health vacation next week I would still like to wrap everything up peacefully at the end of the month on the 28th.”

Prior to joining WBNQ in December 1997, Saunders held roles including nights on KYMX Sacramento, Promotion Director and night host at WZEE Madison, middays at WZOK Rockford IL, and mornings at WYZM Madison WI.

Stroke Mastro departs as morning host at Rock “99 Rock” WKSM Fort Walton Beach FL after two years.

Mastro joined WKSM in September 2024 following five years in Sacramento as part of “That Damn Show” on Audacy Rock “98 Rock” KRXQ Sacramento from 2017 until November 2022. Prior to Sacramento, Mastro spent thirteen years at Magic Broadcasting Rock “97X” WYYX Panama City FL eventually rising to Program Director and morning host.

Mastro posted, “I ’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity I’ve had to serve as a morning show host with Cumulus and 99 Rock. Unfortunately, I was part of the nationwide layoffs today. I’ve worked alongside some truly talented people, and I wish the entire Fort Walton Beach market nothing but the best. As I look toward my next chapter, I am excited to transition into a new role where I can apply my academic and professional expertise. I hold a Master’s degree in Marketing and Public Relations and am currently finishing my PhD in Communications. If you know of any opportunities in these fields where I could put my background to work, I would sincerely appreciate your leads or introductions.”

Blake Haas exits as Afternoon Host/Assistant PD and News Director at News/Talk 1230 WJBC/102.1 W271DC Bloomington IL.

Jaimee Lee exits her third stint at Cumulus Modesto CA where she has served as APD/MD/morning co-host/midday host at Country “Kat Country 103” KATM since 2015. Lee previously worked at KATM from 2007 to 2014 in nights, mornings and afternoons. She began her career in the building from 2003 to 2007 as Marketing Director for Rhythmic CHR 97.7 KWIN. She posted, “Dear RADIO. It was a good run.”

Jordan Lass exits his roles as APD of CHR “105.3 Hot-FM” WHTS-FM and AAA “94.5 The Q” WKLQ and afternoon host at Classic Rock 96.9 WLAV Grand Rapids. Lass previously was Brand Manager and afternoon host at Midwest Communications Hot AC “Hits 96.5” WZOX Kalamazoo until exiting last October. He began his career in Port Huron MI holding roles at CHR 96.9 WBTI and “Rock 105.5” WHLS from 2016-19 before a brief ten month stint in the dual role of Jordan Lass departs as PD/afternoon host at iHeartMedia CHR “Hot 95.7” KOSY-FM Cedar Rapids and afternoon host at Alternative “Alt 106.3” KDXA Des Moines until being part of the company’s January 2020 cuts. He joined Midwest Kalamazoo in March 2020 first as morning show producer and midday host at Country “Win 98.5” WNWN and rose to APD/afternoon host until his move to WZOX when it launched in March 2021. He then became Brand Manager there from September 2021 until his exit. Lass can be reached on LinkedIn.

Lass posted, “Well, this isn’t exactly how I thought it would end but today I was let go from my job at Cumulus. Before you shower me will sympathy, it was my plan to walk away the first week of September to become a full-time freelancer. I’ve also been blessed with a pretty decent severance package. I cant thank Rob Sparks, Rachael Gray, and Steve Holm enough for the opportunity to do what I loved in my hometown as well as a top 75 market. I truly do feel this is my final curtain call in radio and I’m excited for what’s ahead.”

Midday hosts Greg Papa and Greg Silver exit Sports 680 KNBR/104.5 KNBR-FM San Francisco. Papa, the PBP voice of the San Francisco 49ers, has been on and off leave for the past year while undergoing cancer treatments. He joined KNBR and the 49ers in 2019 after previously hosting at “95.7 The Game” KGMZ. He has also held play-by-play roles for the NBA’s Indiana Pacers, Golden State Warriors, and San Antonio Spurs, MLB’s Oakland Athletics and San Francisco Giants, and NFL’s Oakland Raiders.

Silver moved to middays in November 2024 after being a producer at the station since April 2023 and served as play-by-play voice for the University of California. SFGate reports that former KNBR host John Lund will return to the station to take over middays.

Hot AC 96.3 WDVD Detroit afternoon host Dave Fuller exits after nearly eight years at the station.

Fuller joined WDVD in January 2019 after previously hosting afternoons on then sister Country “93.1 Nash-FM” WDRQ from September 2016. McConnell Adams exits as PD of AC “B98.5” KURB and CHR “Alice 107.7” KLAL Little Rock.

Adams joined Cumulus Little Rock in September 2024.

Adams previously served as Operations Manager for Delta Radio Network in his native Greenville MS and hosted mornings at CHR “Q102” WIQQ. He has held roles as Director of Content for Townsquare Media Lansing MI and morning host at CHR “Now 97.5” WJIM-FM, afternoon host at iHeartMedia CHR 101.3 KGOT Anchorage AK, Program Director for New Northwest Broadcasters and Last Frontier Mediactive Fairbanks AK and morning host at CHR “98.1 K-Wolf” KWLF, PD of Summit City Radio Fort Wayne, APD at KKDA-FM Dallas, WIOG Saginaw MI, and WKPK Traverse City MI, and on-air at WDRQ and WHYT Detroit.

Leo ‘LB’ Baldwin has exited as PD of Classic Hits “98.5 OMG” WOMG Lexington and AC “B106.7” WTCB Orangeburg in the Columbia SC market. Baldwin also anchored “The Midlands Morning Show” on WTCB.

Baldwin joined the cluster as Program Director in June 2023 from Audacy St. Louis where he spent two and a half years as Operations/Brand Manager for Hot AC “Y98” KYKY and AC 102.5 KEZK. He previously held roles as Operations Manager for Hubbard West Palm Beach and PD of Hot AC 97.9 WRMF, Format Captain for AC/Hot AC while the cluster was owned by Alpha Media and programmed WHHH/WNOW-FM Indianapolis, WRDW-FM Philadelphia, and KQMQ and KDDB Honolulu.

“The Midlands Morning Show” with Baldwin and Kaylin Mozdzen debuted in January 2025. With his exit, the station has added Radiocraft’s “The TJ Show” for mornings while Mozdzen continues in middays at WTCB and WRRM Cincinnati.

Cami Marlowe exits as PD/afternoon host at CHR 97.5 WABD Mobile AL and Regional Promotions Director.

She had been with Cumulus since 2018 after 3+ years at WYOY Jackson MS in mornings and middays and has held on-air and promotions roles in Beckley WV, Greensboro NC, Lima OH and New Zealand.

Anthony ‘Big Ant’ Simmons has exited as PD/afternoon host at Hip Hop 99.7 KMJJ and PD/midday host at Country 101.1 KRMD-FM Shreveport LA.

He had been with KMJJ since 2014 and added the roles at KRMD-FM in July 2023. The Minnesota native began his career as an intern at 101.3 KDWB Minneapolis and worked on-air at 89.9 KMOJ and “B96” KTTB before an eleven year run at 103.1 WEUP Huntsville AL from 2003-14.

Wes Jordan has exited as Production Director for Cumulus Bloomington and Peoria IL and afternoon host at Rhythmic CHR “Z92.3” WZPW Peoria after seven years with the cluster.

Jordan wrote, “Welp…now that the cats out of the bag…as of noon today I am no longer employed by Cumulus Broadcasting Central Illinois. I wish them nothing but the best as I’m sure they will miss my laughter in the hallways.”
