New South Radio Country “US 96.3” WUSJ Madison/Jackson MS has announced the addition of Gordon ‘Gordo’ Hultengren to host mornings with Hannah Lane.

Hultengren most recently was at Saga Communications Columbus OH first in mornings at Hot AC “Mix 107.9” WVMX followed by a brief stint at Classic Hits “Rewind 103.5/104.3” WNND/WNNP. He arrived in Columbus in May 2024 after previously hosting mornings at CHR “U93” WNDV-FM South Bend IN, morning co-host/producer at Hot AC “Big 98.7” KLTA Fargo ND, and spent four years as morning show producer for Carla Marie & Anthony and Bender & Molly at KBKS Seattle.

Program Director Traci Lee, who had been co-hosting mornings with Nate West and Lane until West’s retirement earlier this month, will move to afternoons. Fisher Alexander, who also hosts middays on AC “Mix 98.7” WJKK, will move to nights replacing the syndicated ‘B-Dub Radio”.

Lee said, “I’ve been doing mornings for almost 13 years, the last 4 with Nate and we added Hannah Lane a couple of years ago. Hannah Lane is going to slide up to second chair and I know she and Gordo are going to make magic. We are thrilled to have him join us, but he’s an Ohio State fan so we’ll be in constant prayer about his conversion to the SEC.”
