Radio One’s changes in Dallas continue as the majority of the lineup of the former Adult R&B “Majic 94.5” KZMJ Gainesville has moved over to newly acquired “Smooth R&B 105.7” KRNB Decatur.
While the Rickey Smiley Morning Show moved to Hip Hop “97.9 The Beat” KBFB on July 6, the remainder of the former KZMJ lineup is now heard on KRNB. The station will retain Premiere Networks’ Steve Harvey Morning Show from 5-9am. Former KZMJ Program Director Queen Indy Bee will continue in her 9am to 12pm timeslot with Veda Loca following from 12-3pm. Reach Media’s DL Hughley Show will follow in afternoons from 3-7pm and “Love and R&B” hosted by KG Smooth at night.
KRNB afternoon host Keith Solis shared his exit from the station last week. Former midday host Dr. Lynne Haze and evening “Quiet Storm” host Janet G have not commented on their status with company moving forward.
