AC 100.9 KGLC Miami OK has flipped to a Yacht Rock focused Classic Hits “100.9 The Island“.
The flip took place following a transfer of operations late last year and a stunt with Christmas music.
While no transfer has been filed yet, local television and radio personality Howard ‘Howie” Nunnelly, is representing himself as the new Owner/GM of KGLC and Classic Country “99.3 The Bridge” KGVE Grove through his Hooked Broadcasting LLC. Nunnelly serves as morning anchor at KODE-TV Joplin MO and works on-air at American Media Investments’ “96.9 KKOW Country” KKOW-FM Pittsburg KS and Classic Hits “The Rewind 104.3” KCAR-FM Baxter Springs KS. A sale of KGLC from Taylor Made Broadcasting to Land Go Radio Group failed to close in 2023.
