Revolving Door Media will relaunch Birach Broadcasting’s 1160 WCXI Fenton/Detroit MI with a new format on Friday, September 25 at 10am.

The station is currently running a mix of songs about sexual deviance such as Rick James “Super Freak” and The Staple Sisters “”Dirty Ol’ Man” mixed with news clips about Overcomer Ministry and Brother Ralph Stair’s sexual assault allegations as WCXI previously carried Stair’s sermons.

The station is now listed on TuneIn as “Cool 1160” described as “We keep the Great Lakes moving with five incredible decades of classic hits, spinning the songs you know and love from the 60s through the 2000s. Turn it on, crank it up, and stay Cool!”

The group also recently relaunched Birach’s 1090 WCAR Livonia flipping it from as simulcast of Vazquez Broadcasting’s Regional Mexican “La Explosiva” 1480 WSDS Salem Township to Oldies “Detroit’s Cars 1090” focusing on music from the 1950s through 70s with an emphasis on Motown.

Revolving Door Media is led by Aaron Gresser and Phil Arcaro. Gresser said, “We are extremely excited to get this new format off the ground. It has been a labor of love for us for the last few months. Our goal is to bring something unique, not just to Detroit, but to all of Southeast Michigan, and we can’t wait for listeners to find out what it is.”
