Bonneville’s “Sactown Sports 1140” KHTK Sacramento is launching new midday and afternoon shows on Monday, January 12.
Current midday host Allen Stiles is moving to afternoons to join Kevin ‘Whitey’ Gleason on “The Drive Guys” from 2-6pm. Stiles joined KHTK in October 2023 originally teamed with Chris Watkins to succeed Gleason when he moved to afternoons. Stiles previously spent time at KGMZ San Francisco and TuneIn. Gleason has been a regular on-and-off in Sacramento radio since 1989 mostly as part of “The Rise Guys” first on 93.7 and later 98.5 KRXQ before moving to KHTK from 1999 until 2011. After the show moved to San Francisco in 2011, Gleason and Mark Kreidler would return to the market to host afternoons on “ESPN 1320” KCTC from 2014-19 and he joined KHTK in July 2023.
Joining the station to host middays are Matt George & Kayla Anderson. George returns to the station where he started his career from KXTV-TV and the Locked on Kings podcast. He previously spent six years at KHTK as a fill-in host and on Sacramento Kings coverage. He has hosted the Locked on Kings podcast since 2017.
Anderson joins the station after most recently co-hosting mornings at Cumulus Media’s “104.5 The Zone” WGFX Nashville until exiting last May. Prior to joining WGFX in 2022, Anderson served as a television sports anchor and reporter in Nashville, Columbus, Spokane, Missoula, and Tucson.
