Following the flip of Anaheim Broadcasting Rock 96.7 KCAL-FM Redlands CA to jockless Classic Rock earlier this month, one of their hosts is joining Heftel Broadcasting’s “KNAC” 96.9 KNAC Lenwood/Barstow, 94.9 KHDR Baker CA and 99.7 KHYZ-HD3 Mountain Pass CA/Las Vegas.

‘Mike Z’ Zara’s weekly Hard Rock and Heavy Metal “Wired”, which has aired on Saturday nights on KCAL-FM, debuted yesterday on KNAC where it will air weekly on Thursdays from 12-2pm and replay on Saturdays from 8-10pm. Zara spent 22 years at KCAL-FM after previously holding on-air role at stations including KCXX San Bernardino, KLLY and KRAB Bakersfield and promotions roles at KCBS-FM and KLYY Los Angeles.

He commented, “What an honor it is for me to add those legendary call letters to my resume under the guidance and tutelage of legendary KNAC personality & Program Director Gonzo Greg.
