Ohana Media Group Rock 102.1 KRAK Anchorage AK has promoted afternoon host Scotty Simmons to Program Director.
Simmons joined the company in March and also hosts mornings at Country “96.3 The Moose” KXLW Houston/Anchorage. He commented, “KRAK is a station that was thought of, designed and started just for Anchorage. I aim to make sure we continue to be your station—always focused on our litlle corner of the world.”
VP/General Manager Cat Okegawa said, “Scotty’s experience, creativity and genuine connectioon with our listeners make him the perfect person to lead KRAK. He understands what makes great local radio, and I’m excited to see him continnue growing a station created specifically for Anchorage.”
He succeeds former PD Brad ‘The Beard’ Stennett who launched the new Rock brand in May.
