I3G Media seeks to expand its holdings in Jamestown ND with the purchase of Classic Country 600 KSJB/100.1 K261FC and Hot AC “Mix 93.3” KSJZ Jamestown from Chesterman Communications for $400,000. The deal will require an FCC waiver of the ownership caps as I3G currently owns Country “Big Dog 95.5” KYNU Jamestown, Classic Country/Farm “Thunder 98.3” KXGT Carrington, CHR “Q101” 101.1 KQDJ-FM Valley City, Classic Rock “103.1 The Raven” KRVX Wimbledon, Classic Hits “Ted-FM” 97.1 K246AM Jamestown/102.7 K274BH Valley City/KRVX-HD2, Soft AC “Jamestown 107.1” 1400 KQDJ/107.1 K296HH Jamestown, and Full Service Country 1490 KOVC/96.3 K242CZ Valley City.
After Sticks Media walked away from their purchase and relaunch of now-silent 102.5 KMSO Missoula and 107.9 KHDV Darby/Hamilton MT from Sheila Callahan & Friends in May, Jake Eaton’s Big Sky Media has agreed to purchase the station for $190,000. The deal is structured with a $10,000 payment followed by $5000 per month for 36 months.
Bouldin Radio LLC acquires Classic Hits “Kool 95.3” WXBX Rural Retreat, Oldies “Classic” 600 WLOY/93.3 W227DS Rural Retreat, and Full Service Country 1280 WYVE/99.9 W260DI Wytheville VA from Three Rivers Media Corporation for $150,000 with a Time Brokerage Agreement that took effect on September 15.
Dream Weaver Marketing purchases Silent 860 WMRI/105.5 W288DN and 1400 WBAT Marion IN from Hoosier AM/FM for $30,000. An LMA will take effect ahead of closing. Hoosier AM/FM previously sold its two FMs in Marion to Taylor University Broadcasting last year. Dream Weaver owns “101.9 Rocks” WARU-FM Roann and Oldies “105.9 The Bash” WJOT-FM Wabash IN.
K-Love Inc. acquires College 88.3 WLFC North Baltimore OH from The University of Findlay for $180,750. K-Love began operating the station under a Network Affiliation Agreement on August 8 with its “K-Love” Christian AC programming.
