Zimmer Communications has announced the appointment of programming consultant Mike Stern as its new corporate Director of Programming.
Stern will oversee programming, music, and on-air strategy for Zimmer’s stations in Columbia, Jefferson City and Springfield MO working with Corporate Operations Director Trevor Morgan and General Manager Carla Leible. He joins the company from Jacobs Media where he has spent the past thirteen years. Stern has also held roles as VP/Programming for Emmis Radio Chicago, and programming roles at Saga Milwaukee, Emmis Denver, and CBS Radio Detroit and Las Vegas.
