Radio-One’s Reach Media will launch a new syndicated morning show for Classic Hip-Hop stations.

“The Ed Lover Show” hosted by former WQHT/WWPR New York and “Yo MTV Raps” co-host Ed Lover and current “Boom 107.9” WPHI Philadelphia morning host Monie Love will debut on Monday, January 11 with WPHI serving as the first affiliate. Airing live from 6-10am Eastern weekdays, Reach Media describes the show as “featuring classic hip hop music, celebrity interviews from the hottest artists and influencers plus features that connect with a generation of urban trendsetters”.

Radio One Radio Group CEO David Kantor stated, “Ed and Monie represent the spirit of the throwback hip hop experience. Their personalities and styles make them the perfect voices as the demand for the growing format expands on radio.”
