NBC Sports Launches Podcast Network

NBC Sports through its NBC Sports Radio network, NBCSN and Golf Channel national cable networks, CSN regional cable networks and and is launching a podcast network. The network will launch with a new show hosted by Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir to tie into NBC’s coverage of the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Jineiro. Tony Kornheiser To Exit WTEM; Launch Podcast

Tony Kornheiser is exiting Red Zebra Sports “ESPN 980” WTEM Washington and simulcasters 92.7 WWXT Prince Frederick MD and 94.3 WWXX Buckland VA at the end of this month. Kornheiser has been part of the lineup at WTEM on and off since its launch on 570 in 1992 including during his six year run while syndicated nationally by ESPN Radio. While part of the Monday Night Football booth, his show moved to the short-lived “Washington Post Radio” 1500 WTWP and “3WT” WWWT and XM Satellite Radio in 2007 and 2008.
