iHeartMedia continues its revamp of its Louisville cluster as Hot AC “100.5 My-FM” WLGX has rebranded as “100.5 Kiss-FM“.
Positioning as “Louisville’s Best Variety”, the name change puts a fresh coat of paint on a station that has not gained any traction in the market. WLGX registered a 1.6 share in the Spring 2016 Phase 1 Nielsen Audio ratings trends, down from a 2.1 share in the Winter book which was inflated by Christmas music. The station will continue to flank sister CHR “Radio Now 98.9” WNRW while competing head-on against Alpha Media’s “102.3 The Max” WXMA.
