Entercom Appoints Bill Ashenden As New Portland VP/Market Manager
Bill Ashenden has joined Entercom as its new VP/Market Manager for its Portland OR operations.
Ashenden joins Entercom from BiCoastal Media’s Medford OR stations where he has served as Market Manager since January 2014. Most of his career has been spent in Portland where he was GM of CHR “Z100” KKRZ in the early 1990s and later spent 15 years as General Sales Manager for 750 KXL and then General Sales Manager for Alpha Media.
He succeeds Tim McNamara who exited earlier this year.
Entercom today announced that Bill Ashenden is joining the Portland cluster as the Vice President and Market Manager for Entercom Portland effective July 10th, 2017. Ashenden previously served as the Market Manager and General Manager for BiCoastal Media in Medford, Oregon.

Ashenden is a 30 year veteran of the radio business with a particular focus on the Portland area and has worked with radio broadcasters including Alpha Broadcasting, Rose City Radio, Great American Broadcasters, and most recently BiCoastal Media. He is a graduate of the University of Portland and served as president on the board of the Oregon Association of Broadcasters for three years.
