Three weeks after Urban “Swagga Radio” 970 WWRK Florence/97.9 W250BJ Florence/105.9 W290CD Darlington/94.1 WRZE Kingstree SC moved its programming to WDAR-FM Darlington as “105.5 The Beat“, iHeartMedia has launched a new format on those stations.
The trio of FM signals have flipped to Classic Rock as “Rock 94.1 – 97.9 – 105.9“. Positioned as “The Pee Dee’s Classic Rock”, the new format positions the stations up against Cumulus Media Rock “102.1 The Fox” WMXT and Community Broadcasters “94.7 Rock” WWBD.
The station has picked up the syndicated Rover’s Morning Glory based at sister 100.7 WMMS Cleveland for mornings.
