97.9 The Bear WNBB New BernEure Communications is transferring Country “97.9 The Bear” WNBB Bayboro/New Bern NC to Diana Schulman for $500,000. Schulmann currently serves as Sales Manager for the station.

Sarah Shellhammer’s Morgan County Media is acquiring Country 105.5 WJVO South Jacksonville, News/Talk 1550 WJIL South Jacksonville and Classic Hits 102.9 W275BM Jacksonville IL from Bart Boling’s Morgan County Broadcasting for $250,000. Shellhammer has served as General Manager of the stations since 1997.

Alpha Media is selling the Construction Permit for 99.1 KZAH Harper TX to JAM Broadcasting for $125,000. Alpha had paid $408,000 in the 2015 FCC Auction 98 for the rights to the allocation. The buyers also own Country “103.7 The Buck” KAXA Mountain Home TX.

On the fringes of the Dallas market, Hunt County Radio sells Classic Country “Friendlee 1400” KGVL and Country “93.5 The Coyote” KIKT Greenville TX to Christie Lynn Tate and Jonathan Tate Ellis’ E Radio Network for $500,000 with an LMA starting on November 1.

Gendreau Broadcast LLC acquires Standards 1390 KCLN and Variety Hits “Mac 94.7” KMCN Clinton IA from WPW Broadcasting for $240,000. The buyers began operating the stations via LMA on October 31.

Willamette Information, News, And Entertainment Service acquires 100.7 K264AA Salem OR from KBOO Foundation for $18,000. K264AA has been rebroadcasting the buyer’s 88.5 KMUZ Turner since 2015.
