Alpha Media has promoted Cort Johnson to National Digital Content Producer. In his new position he will create national content for Alpha’s Rock formats and contribute to streaming and podcasting strategies across the company.
Johnson will continue as night host at Alpha AAA 101.9 KINK Portland.
Alpha Media names Cort Johnson National Digital Content Producer. Cort will be primarily involved in creating national digital content for Alpha’s Rock formats and will be a major contributor to streaming and podcasting strategies.
Alpha Media National Director of Digital Content, Ernie Martinez commented on the announcement, “I am thrilled to be collaborating with Cort! Northeast Broadcasting AAA “104.7 The Point” WNCS Burlington VT and its network of simulcasters has appointed John Mullett as Program Director. Mullett joins from Beasley Alternative “Alt 92.9” WBOS Boston where he served as Music Director and Marketing Director.
With the addition of Mullett, who began his career at WNCS, current PD Zeb Norris will focus on his morning show.

This year’s Benztown 50 reflects increased industry participation and interest, with more than 300 U.S. and Canadian radio groups providing information for this prestigious annual list. The Benztown 50 was analyzed and evaluated by P1 Media Group’s proprietary algorithm, and is based on several criteria, including number of radio station affiliates, station size and market.
