Tom Joyner Moves Back To WDMK In Detroit

Urban One Urban AC “105.9 Kiss-FM” WDMK Detroit is re-adding the Tom Joyner Morning Show.

Joyner, who aired on WDMK from 2005-2014, will return to the morning slot after being relegated to former sister 1200 WCHB and later 99.9 W260CB Hamtramck/WDMK-HD2. The return of Joyner to mornings at WDMK will see John Mason move to the 12-3pm slot and current 10am-3pm host Fantasee Blue move to 10am-12pm. Morning co-host Coco exits as the syndicated DL Hughley remains in afternoons and “Love and R&B with John Monds” in nights.

  1. I absolutely HATE the way radio stations change/shuffle d.j.’s at their whim & the expense of the listeners, whom without they would not exist! So inconsiderate of the listening public. Why move Mason on 105.9 Detroit only to have Tom Joyner retire after a year from now?! That makes absolutely no sense at all!! Mason is a local celebrity in Metro Detroit on the radio & announcing the Detroit Pistons home games
