Greg Neft To Program PowerTalk 96.7 Fresno

Power Talk 96.7 KALZ Fresno PowerTalk 1400 KRZR VisaliaiHeartMedia News/Talk “PowerTalk 96.7” KALZ Fowler/Fresno and 1400 KRZR Visalia CA has appointed Greg Neft as Program Director.

Neft joins KALZ/KRZR from Cherry Creek Media where he served as Director of News Programming since 2015. He previously served as co-anchor for 104.5 WOKV Jacksonville’s Morning News and as a reporter for 105.5 KRDO-FM Colorado Springs.

iHeartMedia announced today that Greg Neft has been named Program Director for KALZ-PowerTalk 96.7 and KRZR- AM 1400, Fresno’s Next Generation of News Talk, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Fresno has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing more than seven stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.

iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Program Director, Neft will be responsible for the day-to-day programming operations for PowerTalk 96.7 and AM 1400. He will work closely with on-air personalities and sales to oversee the station’s on-air content, digital footprint and music programming. He will report to Steve Weed, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Fresno.

Neft joins the Market from St. George, Utah where he most recently served as the Corporate Director of News Content Programming for Cherry Creek Media. He returns to Fresno after previously working there as an anchor and reporter. Neft also served as the Morning News Anchor for WOKV and and NFL reporter for Sirius XM Radio in Jacksonville, Florida. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park.
