Meruelo Media Classic Hip Hop 93.5 KDAY Redondo Beach/KDEY Ontario CA has promoted promotions assistant Paulina to midday host. Paulina started her career as an intern for Local Media San Diego and has worked at Meruelo since graduating from Cal State Long Beach.
Colorado Public Radio Freeform “Open Air” 102.3 KVOQ Greenwood Village/Denver Program Director Mike Flanagan is retiring on October 31. Flanagan spent two terms with CPR, first as a Classical music host in the 1990s and then returning to launch Open Air in 2011.
Entercom CHR “98 PXY” 97.9 WPXY Rochester NY has promoted Music Director/afternoon host Chris Debbins to Assistant Program Director. Debbins has been with the station since 2014 as morning show producer and has also served as Promotions Director before taking on the MD/afternoon host role in 2016.
Entercom, the #1 creator of live, original, local audio content in the United States, announced Chris Debbins as Assistant Program Director for 98 PXY (WPXY-FM) in Rochester, effective immediately. Debbins will continue in his current roles as afternoon drive host and Music Director, which he assumed in 2016.

Debbins joined 98 PXY in April 2014 as producer for the station’s morning show. In September 2014, Debbins’ role was expanded to include hosting the station’s evening and weekend drives in addition to assuming the role of Promotions Director for 98 PXY and sister station 96.5 WCMF (WCMF-FM) in Rochester. Prior to joining Entercom, Debbins held on-air roles for WBSU in Brockport, NY and WKGS in Rochester.
