Entercom has announced that John Hanson, Program Director of Sports “610 Sports” KCSP and “1660 The Score” KWOD Kansas City is returning to Minneapolis to take the same role at News/Talk 830 WCCO Minneapolis.
The Minnesota native has programmed KCSP/KWOD since 2013. Prior to that he spent five years in Minneapolis as host of “Twin Cities Live” on KSTP-TV after winning a public casting call. He also programmed 920 KBAD Las Vegas before his foray into television.
Entercom, the #1 creator of live, original, local audio content in the United States, today announced the appointment of John Hanson to the role of Program Director for 830 WCCO (WCCO-AM) in Minneapolis, effective immediately. Hanson previously held the same role for sister station 610 Sports Radio (KCSP-AM) and 1660 The Score (KWOD-AM) in Kansas City.

Prior to joining Entercom in 2013 Hanson co-hosted “Twin Cities Live” on KSTP-TV in Minneapolis. He has also served as Program Director for ESPN Radio 920 in Las Vegas.
