Regional Media – Virden Broadcasting has announced the acquisition of WZOE Inc.’s three stations in Princeton IL.
The company will acquire Classic Hits “Z98” 98.1 WZOE-FM Princeton, Country 100.5 WRVY-FM Henry, and News/Talk 1490 WZOE Princeton for an undisclosed amount. An LMA will go into effect on February 1. The stations all serve the Lasalle-Peru market.
Regional Media – Virden Broadcasting (RM), announced today that they have entered into a definitive agreement to purchase, WZOE-AM 1490, WZOE-FM (Z-98), and WRVY 100.5, as well as, numerous digital assets serving Princeton Illinois and the surrounding area.

Tom Clark has been named General Sales Manager with current Regional Media Vice President of Operations Jason Gilbraith taking an active role in the day to day operations.
Regional Media – Virden Broadcasting will take over operations on February 1, 2019.
