Cumulus Media has announced that Kris Abrams will return to the company to his former role as FM Operations Manager.
Abrams previously held that position from 2013 to 2016 when he left to join Futuri Media as Director of Partner Integration. Abrams also programmed KKOB-FM and KMGA for then owner Citadel in the early 2000s as well as WLNK Charlotte and time as Operations Manager of CBS Radio Phoenix and Clear Channel Jacksonville. He fills the opening created by Brad Hansen’s move to Townsquare Media Fort Collins in late 2018.
CUMULUS MEDIA announces that it has appointed Kris Abrams as FM Operations Manager of its 5 FM radio stations in Albuquerque, NM. Abrams will also be Program Director for 92.3 KRST-FM/NASH FM (Country), KDRF-FM/103.3 eD FM (Adult Hits), and KBZU-FM/96.3 NASH Icon (Country). This marks a return to the market and position for Abrams, who left to join Futuri Media in March 2016.
