The new show will feature current KOPW APD/night host Tay ‘Mr. West’ Westberry and former American Idol contestant Alyssa Siebken. The Morning Scramble replaces the syndicated Big Boy.
Lotus Media has made a Program Director change at Rock “105.1 The Blaze” KKBZ Auberry/Fresno CA as E. Curtis Johnson supplants Jon Ballard. Johnson previously programmed Rock 103.7 KRZR Fresno for Clear Channel from 1989-2007 and then served as Director of Programming for One Putt Broadcasting from 2008-2014. Ballard had programmed KKBZ since 2013 after previously working on-air in Washington DC, Seattle and Phoenix.
After exiting his role as Program Director/morning host of Mifflin County Communications Rock “Chix 105.5” WCHX Lewistown PA and PD of Classic Hits “Big 100.3” 920 WKVA/100.3 W262DO Lewistown at the end of March, Craven Jacoby has joined Magnum Broadcasting as OM for News/Talk 970 WBLF/106.3 W292EZ Bellefonte and PD/afternoon host for Rock “105.9 Qwik Rock” WQCK Phillipsburg/State College.
Scott Allen is exiting his role of Operations Manager of Saga Des Moines after 25 years with the company to join a local insurance agency as Vice President of Marketing. Allen also served as Program Director of Hot AC “Star 102.5” KSTZ and AC “More 104.1” KMYR.
iHeartMedia Cleveland has promoted Jeff Zukauckas to Vice President of Marketing, Brands and Promotion.
Zukauckas has spent his entire 23 year career with the cluster starting as an intern in 1996 and most recently filling the role of Marketing Director and also on the corporate level as a national event brand manager.
iHeartMedia announced today that Jeff Zukauckas has been named Vice President of Marketing, Brands and Promotion, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Cleveland has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing eight stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.
iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Vice President of Marketing, Brands and Promotion, Zukauckas will be responsible for overseeing the marketing department, as well as overall station brands in all outward facing marketing opportunities through iHeartMedia’s unmatched assets including on-air, online, social media and live events. He will work directly with Keith Hotchkiss, Region President and Regional Vice Presidents of Programming and Sales for iHeartMedia’s North Ohio region, to develop promotions that drive ratings and revenue growth. He will also remain Promotion Director for 99.5 WGAR and a National Event Brand Manager for iHeartMedia’s National Programming platforms. Zukauckas will report to Keith Abrams, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Cleveland and Akron.

Zukauckas, a native Clevelander, began his career as an intern at 99.5 WGAR in 1996 and over his 23-year career has been involved with all of the iHeartMedia brands in the Cleveland market, serving most recently as Marketing Director. In addition, he joined iHeartMedia’s National Programming team in 2011 and became a national event brand manager in 2014. He is a graduate of John Carroll University.
