Leading Media Group Corp, a subsidiary of Mexico’s Grupo Multimedios Estrellas de Oro S.A. de C.V. has agreed to purchase four stations in the Laredo and McAllen markets from MBM Radio for $6 million. The stations involved are Regional Mexican “La Ley 100.5” KBDR Mirando City and Rhythmic CHR “Hot 106.1” Laredo in the Laredo market and Tejano “Super Tejano 102.1” KBUC Raymondville and News/Talk 710 KURV Edinburg in the Rio Grande Valley. Grupo Mulitmedios is one of Mexico’s largest broadcasters with 15 stations in the Monterey market alone.
Gabrielle Broadcasting’s Christian “1580 The Trumpet” KFCS Colorado Springs has been transferred into receivership via court order to Jim Mross Engineering LLC after Gabrielle defaulted on its $250,000 purchase of the station from Pilgrim Communications in February 2016.
Johnson Broadcast Ventures sells Gospel/Blues 760 WCPS/96.3 W242DG Tarboro NC to Reverend Thomas Walker’s Trey & Associates for $250,000.
Donegal Enterprises sells Oldies 92.3 KSVL Smith NV to Evans Broadcast Company for $20,000. Evans owns four stations in the nearby Reno market.

Marshall Martin acquires 101.7 K269GQ Raton NM and 102.7 K274CU Alamosa CO from Mainstreet Broadcasting Company for $5,000. Both translators will rebroadcast Educational Communications of Colorado Springs’ 91.9 KTML South Fork CO.
