Showtime Media Regional Mexican “Poder 97.5” W248BB/WLIT-HD2 Chicago has pulled the plug on its programming.
Showtime Media, led by Pedro Segura, began operating W248BB/WLIT-HD2 under LMA from iHeartMedia in February 2016. iHeart itself leased W248BB from Educational Media Foundation. The station registered a 0.2 share in the March 2019 Nielsen Audio ratings.
WLIT-HD2 is now running iHeartRadio’s Soft AC “Breeze” programming, while the translator is airing EMF’s “K-Love” network already heard in Chicago on 97.9 WCKL.

Does this mean a gradual switch back to a more mainstream a/c sound to the main signal of WLIT? Hmmmm.
WKSC HD-2 has been running “The Breeze” with Soft AC since before WLIT changed to it’s current format. That’s a brand park, to keep Entercom from using it.
In the case of WLIT HD-2, it’s a filler until they find WLIT HD-2 (or WKSC HD-2) a new format.
