Riveira Broadcasting has promoted Ben ‘DJ Complex’ Romero from Assistant Program Director/Music Director to Program Director of Rhythmic CHR “Power 98.3/96.1” KKFR Mayer/K241BQ Fort McDowell/Phoenix.
Complex has been with the company since 2012 after previously programming “Wild 101.1” KWYD Boise and also was Music Director of “Wild 96.1” KWID Riverside CA. He also continues as APD/MD of Hot AC “Hot 97.5/103.9” KMVA/KZON. He fills the opening created by the exit of Mikey Fuentes in April to focus on his role as Director of Affiliate Relations for the syndicated Tino Cochino Radio based in mornings at KKFR.
Riviera Broadcasting has announced the promotion of Ben “DJ Complex” Romero to Program Director of Phoenix’s only rhythmic radio station Power 98.3 & 96.1.
For over 20 years the “Power” brand has been delivering the best in rhythmic and hip-hop music to the Valley. “Complex has been a large part of Power’s success and growth over the years. His work ethic and passion for the brand and market are second to none. We’re excited to see the next evolution of the station,” added Michael Cutchall, CEO of Riviera Broadcasting.
