iHeartMedia CHR “100.3 Kiss-FM” WMKS Greensboro NC has made a morning show change with the addition of the syndicated Ace & TJ show based at co-owned “Hits 96.1” WHQC Charlotte this morning.
WMKS has been running jockless in mornings since the station dropped its simulcast of Fred & Angi from “103.5 Kiss-FM” WKSC Chicago last year.
iHeartMedia Greensboro today announced the debut of one of the most influential morning shows in the country, “The Ace & TJ Show” on 100.3 KISS FM, All the Hits. The station’s new morning show will broadcast weekday mornings from 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. beginning today.
“The Ace & TJ Show” is a highly interactive and socially engaging radio show hosted by Ace and TJ, along with co-hosts Riggins, Sass and Tech D Rob and is known for its funny, real and community focused rapport. The show originated in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1998, launched into syndication in 2002 and is heard on nine stations across the Southeastern part of the country. Fans can follow the show on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
“Pop culture fans in Greensboro have been dying to have a morning show to call their own and I’m excited for them to be able to wake up and listen to this top-rated show,” said Keith Allen, Program Director for 100.3 KISS FM. “Ace and TJ’s morning show is incredibly entertaining and I know it will truly resonate with the Triad audience.”
“For years the Triad audience has streamed our show on the iHeartRadio and Ace & TJ apps as well as on our website,” said Ace and TJ. “To now be able to reach so many more listeners on an iconic station like 100.3 KISS FM is amazing because it allows us to have an even larger platform to engage our North Carolina radio family.”
