After quietly flipping 95.3 KBHH Kerman/Fresno CA from their Regional Mexican “La Campesina” network to a bilingual CHR presentation as “Forge 95.3” last fall, Cesar Chavez Foundation has given the new station an official ribbon cutting.
The station features a mix of Spanish and English language music with all imagining and hosts in English. That will include a new morning show hosted by longtime Bakersfield personality Danny Morrison. Morrison, who hosts a weekend show on CCF’s Rhythmic CHR “103.9 The Beat” KBDS Taft/Bakersfield previously spent 15 years at American General Media’s “Hot 94.1” KISV Bakersfield.
The station’s Facebook page describes the new format as: “Forge 95.3 is a new sound in Fresno forging the current top 40 hits in English and Latin music, with a core purpose to engage multi-generations of listeners that have the desire to be part of something impactful, to be inspired, and to embrace their identities.”
