Hubbard Broadcasting Sports “101 ESPN” WXOS East St. Louis has restructured its weekday schedule.
Anthony Stalter’s “The Turn” is moving from 1-3pm to 10am-2pm, while “The Fast Lane” hosted by Randy Karraker, Brad Thompson and Chris Rongey moves up from 2-6pm. Morning co-host Michelle Smallmon will leave the Bernie Miklasz morning show to focus on her duties as editor of 101ESPN.com while serving as a fill-in host on multiple shows at the station. 10am-1pm host Kevin Wheeler exits with the changes.
So…probably should start with just a few quick things:
1. I did not decide to "leave" 101, they decided that I needed to leave. LOL
2. I do not know precisely what will come next
3. I stayed away from this website for a few days so I wouldn't say anything I'd regret

Bottom line for me right now is this: everyone in our business knows this stuff happens, it's part of the deal. Something similar happened with me 14 years ago and it landed me in STL, where I've had a blast, raised my kid, made great friends, etc.
Unknown does not mean "bad."

Finally, the most important part:
Thank you all.
I appreciate every single person who listened (and there were a lot of you!) and that has nothing to do with whether or not you agreed with me or not. Lord knows I like a good fight.
Just know you are appreciated.
