After stunting as “Christmas 107.7” since November 6, iHeartMedia’s 107.7 WXXF Loudonville OH has flipped to Soft AC “107.7 The Breeze“.
Kelly Sheehan, who hosted middays at iHeart’s Country 101.3 WNCO-FM Ashland, will move down the hall to anchor 12-7pm on The Breeze. The syndicated Delilah is added for nights.
WXXF previously simulcast Rock “102.3 The Fox” WFXN-FM Galion/Mansfield until its signal moved closer to Mansfield in October making the overlap redundant.
Update 11/6: iHeartMedia has broken up the simulcast of “102.3 The Fox” WFXN-FM Galion/Mansfield OH and 107.7 WXXF Loudonville OH and launched “Christmas 107.7” on WXXF.
Branded as “Mansfield’s Christmas Music Station”, WXXF is promoting it will debut its new identity on December 26.
iHeartMedia Ashland/Mansfield announced today the debut of the new Christmas 107.7 FM (WXXF), effective immediately. The new station will broadcast the greatest Christmas songs of all time including fan favorites such as “Holly Jolly Christmas” from Burl Ives, “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” from Andy Williams and “All I Want for Christmas” from Mariah Carey, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through December 25.
WXXF – FM 107.7 will also debut a new exciting format for Ohio listeners on December 26 that will be announced soon. Rock listeners can continue to tune into 102.3 The Fox, which will remain Mid-Ohio’s Rock Station carrying “Rover’s Morning Glory” in the morning, and the best rock music in Ohio all day, every day.
