Connecticut Radio Fellowship Christian Preaching 104.9 WIHS Middletown/Hartford CT has announced the addition of longtime Hartford market personality Allison Demers as News Director and afternoon host starting Monday, August 3 from 2-6pm.

Demers most recently hosted middays at iHeartMedia Classic Hits “105.9 The River” WHCN from June 2024 until April. She had 23 year run co-hosting mornings at Audacy AC “Lite 100.5” WRCH from 2000 to 2023 and also co-hosted mornings at WATR Waterbury CT and co-hosted mornings with Glenn Beck and Vinnie Penn at then-CHR “KC 101” WKCI New Haven. During her time at WRCH, Demers also served as fill-in newscaster, traffic reporter, social media and website coordinator at News/Talk 1080 WTIC and has co-hosted shows at WTNH-TV.

She commented, “I love the Lord and people, so to me, this isn’t work, it’s ministry. I’m grateful for and enthused about this opportunity to minister in my home state through WIHS.”
