EMF Acquires Wyoming Pair
Educational Media Foundation is acquiring Classic Hits simulcast 101.9 KXJW North Rock Springs and 98.7 KWXR Reliance WY from Ted Tucker’s Cochise Broadcasting
Terms were not disclosed in the release. Both stations serve the Rock Springs area in southwestern Wyoming.
This is to announce that a contract has been signed and an application is being filed with the FCC for the transfer of radio stations KXJW-FM, North Rock Springs and KWXR-FM, Reliance, Wyoming. from Cochise Broadcasting, LLC to Educational Media Foundation.
The Seller, Cochise Broadcasting, is a Wyoming-based company headed by Ted Tucker.
The Buyer, Educational Media Foundation, is a not-for-profit organization based in Rocklin, California, led by CEO Bill Reeves.
KXJW-FM operates at 101.9 MHz, with .5 kW at 509’ HAAT.
KWXR-FM operates at 98.7 MHz, with .25 kW at 509’ HAAT.
