Day 3 of Nielsen Audio’s PPM releases are now available for Portland, Charlotte, San Antonio, Sacramento, Pittsburgh, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Orlando, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Kansas City, and Columbus.

Noteworthy numbers in today’s markets include:
- Bonneville AC 100.3 KSFI Salt Lake City once again is over a 21 share for the Christmas book, however it’s 21.1 share is down from its 23.2 in 2017 and 21.8 in 2018. The 23.2 stands as the highest
- In just its second monthly since adding a simulcast of 94.9 KHTB, Cumulus Media CHR “Power 101.9” KENZ has overtaken iHeartMedia CHR 97.1 KZHT. KENZ has trended 3.1 – 4.5 – 4.6 over the past three months, while KZHT has slid 5.7 – 4.9 – 4.1.
- iHeartMedia AC “K103” KKCW continues to be the dominant Christmas station in Portland but its 13.9 is down from its 16.9 in 2017 and 16.2 in 2018. Entercom Variety Hits “97.1 Charlie-FM” KYCH registered a 6.7 and Salem Christian AC “104.1 The Fish” KFIS-FM a 3.0 with Christmas music.
- Both Christmas stations in Pittsburgh have been trending downward the past few years. iHeartMedia Classic Hits “94.5 3WS” WWSW has gone 16.4 – 13.6 – 13.6 over the past three years, while Renda AC “Wish 99.7” WSHH has gone 10.6 – 9.9 – 7.6.
- Educational Media Foundation Christian AC “K-Love” 91.3 KZLV San Antonio has more than doubled its audience in one month with a rise from a 2.4 to 5.3 placing it in a third place tie with iHeartMedia News/Talk 1200 WOAI.
- The rise at KZLV could be mostly responsible for iHeartMedia AC “Q101.9” KQXT only rising to a 10.5 share this year as opposed to its 13.6 in 2017 and 14.9 in 2018.
- The big two Christmas stations in Cleveland were up despite additional competition. Entercom AC “Star 102.1” WDOK led with an 11.8 share up from 10.4 in 2017 and 10.3 in 2018. iHeartMedia Classic Hits “Majic 105.7” WMJI was second at 10.8 up from 10.3 in 2017 and 10.7 in 2018. Salem Christian AC “95.5 The Fish” added an additional 2.7 share, while stunting 107.3 WNWV does not subscribe.
- Beasley AC “K104.7” WKQC Charlotte was up big from recent years with an 11.0 – 12.9 – 14.5 trend.
- Bonneville AC “Mix 96” KYMX Sacramento has slid year-to-year 14.2 – 13.8 – 12.6.
- iHeartMedia AC “Sunny 106.5” KSNE Las Vegas shows a big year-to-year gain going from 12.8 in 2018 to 15.8 in 2019.
- The two perennial Christmas players in Columbus were neck and neck as Saga AC “Sunny 94.7” WSNY held a 9.7 share to iHeartMedia Variety Hits “93.3 The Bus” WODC’s 9.4.
- Cumulus Classic Hits 94.9 KCMO-FM Kansas City’s 12.8 share was well ahead of Steel City Media AC “KC 102.1” KCKC with its 5.0 in that market’s all-Christmas battle.
- Grant County Broadcasters Classic Country 105.9 WNKN Cincinnati is showing major growth to end 2019 with a three month trend of 2.9 – 4.1 – 4.7 placing it sixth in the market and just behind Hubbard Country powerhouse “B105.1” WUBE.
- Cumulus AC “Warm 98.5” WRRM Cincinnati’s 13.1 share was off from its 14.6 in 2018.
- iHeartMedia AC “Magic 107.7” WMGF Orlando’s 15.4 share was up from a 14.3 in 2018.
