After exiting their 10am-12pm show at Nexstar Media Talk 720 WGN in November, Bill Leff and Wendy Snyder are joining Cumulus Media’s Conservative Talk 890 WLS Chicago.
The duo will not be heard on-air, but instead will be hosting a podcast for the station. Both have previously worked at WLS with Snyder serving as traffic reporter from 2007-2013 and Leff co-hosting Roe Conn’s afternoon show from 2005-2009.
Leff and Snyder previously worked together hosting nights at “97.9 The Loop” WLUP from 1994-96 and then mornings at Alternative “Q101” WKQX from 96-98. They joined WGN for late mornings in 2013 through last fall.
WLS-AM 890 announces the launch today of a new podcast hosted by on-air duo Bill Leff, and Wendy Snyder. The Bill and Wendy Show podcast will feature stories, anecdotes, haikus, games, prizes, circus animals, Milk Duds, puppet fights, artificial owl flavoring, Count Chocula’s mother, Twinkie suits, and that’s just the first twelve minutes.
Since their early days at the legendary WLUP FM /The LOOP in the Nineties, Wendy and Bill have also been heard hosting weekday programming on Chicago radio powerhouses WKQX and WGN -AM 720. As a team, they have amassed thousands upon thousands of on-air hours conducting celebrity interviews, providing a laugh, and discussing the topics that are most important to their audiences and themselves.
Once considered to be our generation’s “slightly edgier Donnie and Marie”, Bill Leff and Wendy Snyder proudly bring you their version of a world gone mad! (Or at least, slightly ticked off.)
