Former Emmis St. Louis General Manager John Beck is returning to the market with hist STL Broadcasters purchase of 101.5 K268CT Saint Peters MO from Kaspar Broadcasting for $450,000. A condition of closing is a soon-to-be filed modification application for the translator, which will rebroadcast an HD subchannel of Gateway Creative Broadcasting’s 99.1 KLJY Clayton. Beck served as Market Manager for 94.7 KSHE and its eventual Emmis Communications sister stations from 1984 until their sales to Entercom and Hubbard in 2018. He also owns 75% of Stone Canyon Radio and Marketing and their cluster in Flagstaff AZ.
John Burkavage filed a November 2017 agreement to transfer 73% of his Big Horn Media and Soft AC “Easy 104.1” KUEZ Fallon/Reno NV to Harry and Bonnie Dixon for $200,000. Burkavage filed a waiver request with the FCC for the oversight of failing to timely file the transfer at the time the deal was made.
