While Dan Patrick signed a new agreement with Premiere Networks to remain on Fox Sports Radio, it does not appear that the Rich Eisen Show will be doing the same.
Like Patrick, Eisen’s program was owned by DirecTV Original Content and aired on both Fox Sports Radio and DirecTV’s Audience Network and B/R Live. The Big Lead reports that the radio deal with Premiere will end on Friday, April 7. During today’s show intro Eisen briefly mentioned, “We’re not going away. Our radio show is rolling on. The podcast is rolling on. We have exciting news on the audio front for sure that’s coming up and some exciting news on the television from that we can’t talk about.”
The Rich Eisen Show debuted in November 2014 and is currently one of two programs offered by Fox Sports Radio in the 12-3pm eastern timeslot along with The Herd with Colin Cowherd. Many affiliates that carry both shows delay Cowherd to the 3-6pm slot.
