FM Changes
A trio of contingent applications will relocate two FMs in northern New York.
The first move will see North Country Radio’s “Mix 93.3” WSLP Saranac Lake relocate to 93.5 in Warrensburg to serve portions of the Glens Falls market, while downgrading from a Class C3 to A with 120w/404m. To replace WSLP in the Saranac Lake/Lake Placid region, Radioactive LLC’s 100.7 WIRY-FM Plattsburgh West will move to Ray Brook also downgrading from C3 to A with 3.1kW/-52m. To complete the moves, Radioactive’s Rock “107.1 PLA” WPLA-FM Dannemora will change city-of-license to Plattsburgh West to backfill that COL. WPLA-FM will continue to operate with 6kW/84m.
Press Communications Classic Rock “99.7 The Boss” WBHX Tuckerton NJ seeks to operate from the tower of co-owned 106.5 WTHJ Bass River Township with 650w/177.7m. While WBHX currently operates from that site via STA, the permanent move will require a waiver of the second adjacent spacing to 100.1 WJRZ-FM Manahawkin.
